Japanese giteki certification

Certification Introduction

Japan's Giteki certification as a whole relies on the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs (そうむしょう), (English full name Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, referred to as MIC) promulgated "Radio Wave Law" でんぱほう and "Electric Communication Business Law" でんきつうしんじCertification based on ぎょうほう.

As long as wireless products such as Bluetooth speakers, laptops, mobile phones, and Bluetooth headsets are sold in Japan, Giteki certification is required. And on the product label, affix or print the giteki logo and the issued number. Without this certification, direct sales in Japan are illegal and subject to severe penalties.

The full name of Telec is: General Financial Corporation テレコムエンジニアリングセンター (Telecom Engineering Center). In the early days, it was the first legal organization in Japan to conduct radio wave certification, so some people in mainland China mistakenly believe that Japan's giteki certification is telec certification. In fact, in the early days, TELEC could only certify the radio wave of giteki, but not the telecommunication business. Of course, in July 2014, TELEC finally obtained the certification qualification of the Japanese telecommunication business.
